Privacy
Mentalblock exists to share ideas, not to collect information about the people who read them.
I believe reading should be a quiet act. You shouldn’t need to trade your privacy for the privilege of wandering through someone else’s thoughts.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is performing and how it is being used.
The information available to me is aggregated and includes things such as page views, browsers, approximate locations, referrers, and site performance metrics. It helps me answer questions like “Are people finding this worthwhile?” and “Is the site working well?”
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use advertising cookies or build profiles to track visitors across different websites.
Cookies
Mentalblock does not use optional or advertising cookies.
Like almost every website, some technical information is processed as part of delivering pages securely over the internet. This is handled by the hosting platform and security infrastructure rather than for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Correspondence
If you choose to contact me by email, I’ll use the information you provide only to respond to your message.
Some of the best ideas begin in conversation. Occasionally an email may spark a future wandering or contain an observation worth sharing. If I would ever like to quote or publish any part of our correspondence, I’ll always ask for your permission first.
Third-party content
If this site ever includes embedded content from third-party services—such as videos, maps, or social media—those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
Where possible, I prefer to link rather than embed.
Changes
If the way this site handles information changes—for example, if different analytics are introduced or new interactive features are added—this page will be updated before those changes take effect.
